This mask depicts international corporations, which today have the power and budgets of small countries. They influence government and have a major influence on all our lives. Never before have private companies and individuals who run them held such power.

Traditionally Northwest coast Native masks have been used to portray tribal history. I take this tradition a step further, to depict contemporary situations that affect society.
